Guidance

Guidance for entrants

This section of the Shine website focuses on practical guidance for entrants to assist with producing your school publication or website.

Producing a publication of any kind, whether a newspaper, newsletter, magazine, ePub, PDF or website (all categories eligible for Shine), can be exciting, motivating and hugely rewarding.

We cover a huge variety of topics here from ‘where on earth to begin…?’, practical advice on planning, writing, editing and – a hot topic with our judges – ensuring you have considered the origin of all your content from a copyright perspective.
